Touching, whimsical, dreamy, warm, welcoming, contemporary yet evoking feelings of nostalgia… these are some of the descriptions that people have made when viewing Sabra Field Art Prints. They make wonderful pieces for display in your home, and also make excellent housewarming or wedding gifts. No matter the season, these art prints will never be out of style, and they will serve as beautiful art work in anyone’s home for the years to come.
Sabra Field stunningly captures the essence of Vermont with her contemporary woodcut prints. She has been publishing hand-pulled wood block prints from her studio since 1969, using traditional and contemporary techniques and methods. Her work has been featured in several magazine covers as well as over 50 art shows – she has even been singled out by Vermont Governors Kunin and Dean for her amazing printmaking.
One of the main techniques that Sabra uses in her printmaking is the Giclee Technology. She was an early user of this method, which uses sophisticated computer scanning and printing technology to reproduce exact copies of the striking and original art prints.
You can choose to purchase her art prints with or without a frame. We recommend that you get the frame as well since they are custom made by Lassie Barile, a local framing specialist. She uses a custom blend of natural dyes on the wooden frames to perfectly complement Sabra Field Art Prints, making the picture the highlight of the piece.
